Michael Keaton's role on screen in "Birdman" is his most well-known film. He is a versatile actor who is able to play comedic as well as dramatic characters. He's also played several romantic characters and was in a variety of action-packed films during his professional career. He developed an interest in performing and acting while at the age of teen and tried his luck at stand-up comedy when he was a young man. He had a failed comedy career but this paved the way for his career as an actor. He was unable to achieve success as comedian, so his next move was as a TV cameraman for the cable channel. This job was where he discovered that he truly wanted to appear in front of cameras. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got the role on TV. He was naturally gifted and became very popular on television. After having a successful film career, his humorous performance earned him lots of recognition. The actor gained further recognition when he portrayed the eponymous superhero in Tim Burton's Batman. He grew as an actor over time and ventured into the direction and production areas. He won numerous awards and nominations for his performance in the 2014 film Birdman.
